Gender analysis of social security and economic policy, 2013

The goal of the research was gender analysis of social security and economic policy/ To reach the goal, the analysis of social policy was carried out at different levels:

• At the national policy level in order to provide strategy, policy, planning, and budget, that is in relation to CEDAW and UN SC resolutions on women, peace, and security;
• To provide better information and services at the national level for women who are internally displaced, conflict-affected and ethnic minorities;
• Organize and active participation in terms of influencing policy and decision making to support the women who are internally displaced, conflict-affected and ethnic minorities;

To achieve the goals and objectives of the research:

•  Gender analysis and assessment of existing national social policy and various laws have been implemented;
•  In-depth interviews and focus groups were conducted with the experts on the issue

The following methods of qualitative research were used:

• Desk research
• In-depth interview
• Focus group
