Assessment of infrastructural projects carried out by the Municipal Development Fund in Georgia, 2016-2019

Institute of social studies and analysis is implementing a project by the order of “IRD engineering”, the project aims to assess the implementation process of the projects funded by the World Bank and carried out by municipal development fund of Georgia.

More than 40 infrastructural projects are being assessed within the project framework such as rehabilitation process of kindergartens, bridges, roads, sports complexes, public centers and etc. by following indicators – the number of target groups, gender and etc.

In the framework of the assessment, there is used instrument created by the customer. The research method is the face-to-face interview, and the target groups are:

• Representatives of relevant services of local authorities
• Project beneficiaries (local population)

The project implementation started in 2016 and will be completed in 2019.
