“Institute of social studies and analysis” by the order of American research organization “Clear Path Strategies” conducted a sociological research, that aimed to study the attitudes of the population towards the political parties and politicians before the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The sociological research was conducted using both, quantitative and qualitative research.
Focus group method (group discussions) was used in the frame of qualitative research. 6 focus groups were conducted in total in the following cities – Tbilisi, Zugdidi and Batumi. The target group was:
The population of Georgia (18 years and above) were interviewed within the quantitative research using face-to-face interview method. 1000 respondents were interviewed in total using face-to-face interview method in Tbilisi and regions (Adjara, Imereti, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakhet, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli). The sampling error was 3% (for the whole sampling). Analysts of the ISSA conducted face-to-face interviews with respondents using questionnaire downloaded from ODG program in their tablets. After processing the data, SPSS database was prepared and given to the customer.
