Institute of Social Studies and Analysis by the order of International Foundation of Electoral Systems (IFES), conducted a sociological research that aimed to study perceptions regarding women’s participation in politics in Georgia before 2012 parliamentary elections.
In the framework of the research, the qualitative research method - Focus Group was used. There were 4 group discussions were conducted with women living in Tbilisi, which were specifically selected according to criteria developed by the client.
On 18 September 2012, after the live debates broadcasted by the First Channel of the Public Broadcaster, 4 focus groups were held simultaneously at the ISSA office, which was encrypted and the analytical report was prepared.
