Institute of social studies and analysis by the order of National Tourism Association, conducted a sociological survey that aimed to study economic effects of Maroon 5 – concert. Namely, to calculate the expenses of domestic and international travelers, that allowed us to determine the expediency of holding similar festivals in the future.
Face-to-face interviews were conducted with 372 foreigner and 378 Georgian visitors in order to carry out the research. The total number of completed questionnaires amounted to 750 interviews. The survey was conducted before the start and after the end of the concert in predetermined places selected by the National Tourism Administration. Research tool – the questionnaire was delivered to the institute by the administration and the field works were conducted by using it.
The control of the research was carried out by the staff of the Georgian National Tourism Administration and Planning Division.
