The survey conducted in high mountainous districts of Ajara (Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo) aimed to study agricultural markets, description of agriculture population and different areas of service and assess their qualifications in these areas.

The project included both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Within the framework of qualitative research six focus groups were conducted in Keda, Shuakhevi and Khulo municipalities. Discussions were held with two target groups - local government representatives and local entrepreneurs. In total, eight focus groups were held.
Quantitative survey sampling was 478 respondents. The interviewers of the Institute of Social Studies and Analysis conducted face-to-face interviews with respondents in 50 villages in Keda, Shakhevi and Khulo municipalities.
